The Ashland Stakes is held annually in early April at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky,. It was named for the homestead and breeding farm of statesman Henry Clay. Restricted to three-year-olds fillies, the Grade 1 race is currently run at a distance of one and one-sixteenth miles on the polytrack and offers a purse of $500,000.
