Marty Wolfson was born on August 3, 1951 in Washington D.C.  He currently resides in Cooper City, Florida, with his wife Karla, who serves as his assistant trainer.  He is the son of Louis Wolfson, trainer of Triple Crown winner Affirmed, who served as the catalyst to Marty's career in the racing industry.  Notable racehorses trained by Wolfson include Halo America, Miesque's Approval, Pomeroy,

Castro was born April 10, 1985 in Los Santos, Panama, where his family still resides.  Last year he ranked 16th in the nation with earnings of $10,019,501 and had 235 wins from 1,381 mounts. His top mounts last year included Grade 1 winners My Typhoon and Ermine, as well as Hystericalady, Buffalo Man and Joint Effort.

Live Oak is the namesake of Charlotte C. Weber, who is the granddaughter of Campbell's Soup founder John Dorrance; her family is still a primary stockholder in the company. Weber is on the board of trustees for the Metropolitan Museum of Art who also collects Impressionist and ancient Chinese works. She is a major arts benefactor for both museums and to North Carolina University.

Shes All Eltish is by Eltish, who started his racing career in England, where he finished third in the leading two-year-old test, the Dewhurst S. (Eng-G1), before being shipped to the states and running second to Timber Country in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1). Eltish returned to America for a sixth-place finish in the Kentucky Derby (G1) prior to three more European starts, after which he concluded his career with Bobby Frankel. His best American effort in his last two seasons of racing was a closing second-place finish to Smart Strike in the Philip H. Iselin H. (G1).
