Pedigree Analysis

Sherine possesses a good mix of speed and stamina in her pedigree and looks very capable of negotiating the 1 1/8-mile distance of the Kentucky Oaks (G1). Sire Precise End, who captured the seven-furlong Bay Shore S. (G3) as well as the 1 1/16-mile Display S., compiled a commendable 9-4-1-4 career mark while competing mostly in sprints, but his broodmare sire, Summing, won the 1981 Belmont S. (G1).
