Trainer: Cody Autrey

Cody Autrey was born on November 5, 1979 in Waxahachie, Texas.  He resides in Louisville, Kentucky.  Autrey won his first race on September 14, 2000, at Retama Park at age 20.  He finished second in the trainer standings at the Fair Grounds 2006-2007 meet.  Before going out on his own, Cody Autrey worked for Texas Hall of Fame trainer Bubba Cascio.  Autrey saddled four winners at Fair Grounds on a single day early this year on January 27.  He took over the training of Rasierra several weeks ago to prepare her for the Kentucky Oaks.

Jockey: Jamie Theriot

Jamie Theriot was born on January 30, 1979, in Arnaudville, Louisiana.  He has captured multiple titles at Evangeline Downs and won the 2003 riding title at the Oaklawn Park meet.  Last year in 2007, Theriot won 172 races from 1,163 starts and over $5.6 million in purse money.  He also won 54 races at Churchill Downs from 399 starts at the historic racetrack, taking home over $1.6 million in purse money.

Owner: Lloyd DeBruycker

Lloyd DeBruycker owns Rasierra, a four time stakes placed filly by Kafwain. DeBruycker will pony up $25,000 to supplement Rasierra to the Kentucky Oaks after she ran second in a stakes race at Oaklawn Park.  Rasierra will be his first starter in the Kentucky Oaks.

Breeder: Mr. & Mrs. G. David Shashura

Rasierra was bred by Mr. & Mrs. G. David Shashura.  She was bred in Kentucky and was foaled on April 16, 2005.
