Time's Mistress Surprise Winner of Honeybee

Many people thought D. Wayne Lukas would win a 3-year-old stakes race this weekend at Oaklawn Park.  Most thought that would come in the Grade 3 Rebel on Saturday.  However, Lukas got his win a day earlier than expected when Time's Mistress turned the tables on some familiar rivals and galloped home to a big 4 ¾-length victory in the $100,000 Honeybee.

  CENTRAL/LUKAS ENTERS OAKS PICTURE AS TIME’S MISTRESS TAKES HONEYBEE – Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas, who has won the $500,000 Kentucky Oaks (Grade I) four times, but was on the outside looking in on this year’s Oaks scene until Charles Kidder’s Time’s Mistress scored an upset victory in Friday’s $100,000 Honeybee Stakes at Oaklawn Park.

Devil House Buzzes Into Honeybee on a Winning Streak

Devil House will try to stretch her win streak to six in Friday's $100,000 Honeybee at Oaklawn Park.  In order to extend that streak she'll have to stretch her speed to 1 1/16 miles facing eight rivals.
