Full Field For Kentucky Oaks 133

Tuesday, May 01, 2007

Led by 5-2 morning line favorite Rags to Riches, who drew post 11, Friday’s 133rd Kentucky Oaks drew a full field of 14 when entries were taken at the Churchill Downs’ Racing Office Tuesday morning.

Trainer Todd Pletcher may not have been completely thrilled with Rags to Riches’ draw, but he has two other fillies that fared very well.  Octave, second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (GI) here last year, drew post four, while stablemate Cotton Blossom, third in the same race, is next to her in gate five.

Dreaming of Anna, who bested Pletchers’ duo in the Breeders’ Cup, drew right in the middle in gate seven.

Morning Line provided by Mike Battaglia.
