The 22nd running of The Grade III Herecomesthebride Stakes turned into an "absolute procession," to use a Trevor Denmanism for SHARP SUSAN. When the gate opened, this daughter of TOUCH GOLD out of the DYNAFORMER mare WINTER'S DAWN seized command at once. She strolled through pedestrian fractions while leading by open lengths throughout. It's hard to imagine a Grade III Stake would be this easy to win!
COMMUNIQUE came from dead last to finish a strong 2nd. I would expect both of these fillies to show up in "high-class" turf events during the spring in Kentucky.
