Forward Gal Stakes Recap

Monday, March 12, 2007

The 27th running of The Grade II Forward Gal Stakes was somewhat of a coming out party for FOREVER TOGETHER. The gray Kentucky bred daughter of BELONG TO ME out of the RELAUNCH mare CONSTANT COMPANION was a convincing winner over six rivals. She traveled the 7 furlongs in a very respectable time of 1:22.60. The runner-up SILVER KNOCKERS was caught in tight quarters at the top of the stretch, but made little impact through the drive when clear. YOU ASKED raced evenly to barely grab the Show.

FOREVER TOGETHER heads to Keeneland Race Course for her next engagement. Her connections will decide between The Grade I Ashland on April 7 or The Grade II Beaumont Stakes on April 12.
