The Forward Gal Stakes

Friday, March 09, 2007

The 27th running of The Grade II Forward Gal Stakes features a compact field of seven and few, if any, marquee names. However, The Kentucky Oaks picture, not unlike The Kentucky Derby Trail, has frequent changes. Who was talking about LEMONS FOREVER (The 2006 Grade I Kentucky Oaks winner) on March 10 last year?

YOU ASKED (YES IT'S TRUE), the runner-up in The Grade III Old Hat Stakes, may have distance limitations. However, she's drawn the open outside post and is a proven "wide" runner. She's well spotted in here. In my opinion, her main rivals appear to be FOREVER TOGETHER (BELONG TO ME), CHANGEISGONNACOME (CHEROKEE RUN), and SILVER KNOCKERS (SILVER DEPUTY). Enjoy the show!
