The 24th running of The Florida Oaks was another stepping stone to the May 4 Kentucky Oaks for the Todd Pletcher trainee COTTON BLOSSOM. Kentucky bred daughter of BROKEN VOW from the DIXIELAND BAND mare FOR DIXIE quite simply outclassed her seven rivals. I'd be very surprised if any of these other fillies are headed to the big dance. We'll keep you posted on developing stories.
