Am I concerned that John Velazquez chose Octave over Cotton Blossom? You bet. 

But I'm still playing Cotton Blossom. She was on a fast pace in the Fantasy at Oaklawn, and still managed to hold 2nd in her second start of the year. Plus, Edgar Prado is no slouch. I think she can sit behind Tough Tiz's Sis, Mistical Plan and Dreaming Of Anna, and make her move before her stablemates, Octave and Rags To Riches.

If Dawn After Dawn couldn't beat Appealing Zophie and Mistical Plan down south, I can't see how she can be a factor in here.

Cash Included has been very ordinary this year.

High Heels would benefit from another swift pace like she got in the Fantasy, but even so, I think Cotton Blossom is likely to turn the tables on her today.

Octave is a force, no doubt about it. She will run huge.

Grace Happens seems a notch or two below on her best day.

I would love to see Dreaming Of Anna win, and I think she can.

Swift Temper has a win over a wet track, but she has not been competitive against top company this year.

Tough Tiz's Sis can take them to the turn, maybe even the top of the lane. But I don't see her holding off the big girls.

Autobahn Girl has also run well in the slop, and she had trouble in the Florida Oaks when 4th behind Cotton Blossom. She might prove to be a factor in here.

Rage To Riches is the obvious play. But I see her at even money. I'm going to try to beat her.

Mistical Plan won't be able to get the pace she needs.

High Again is interesting, but I hate the post.

In addition to my win wager on Cotton Blossom, I will play her in an exacta box with High Again and Autobahn Girl in an attempt to hit a nice payoff.
