Since Folk has done everything possible this winter against her own sex in Dubai, she will be given an opportunity against males in the UAE Derby on the World Cup undercard.
Clearly highly thought of by the Maktoum family, Folk has been transferred into the Goldolphin part of the operation from Darley following her two dominating victories since being shipped to the Middle East.
If connections are planning for a run in the Kentucky Oaks as appears is the case, the UAE Derby likely will serve as a final prep.
Most cynics, including myself, believe that it is quite difficult to start one's career in the U.S. as a two-year-old and then be shipped to and from Dubai while returning to America in peak form. Folk could end up proving alot of people wrong.
