A nice all-stakes Pick 4 to tackle today with a $500,000 guaranteed pool.

Results of the first four races on Oaks Day indicate that the sloppy track is playing evenly. Once significant development is that Todd Pletcher has saddled favorites in three of the races and is winless so far.

Here’s my ticket:

Leg 1 – The Aegon Turf Sprint – I’ve never been a fan of these grass sprints. Just can’t seem to figure them out, so I’ll go deep in here with pretty much all the logical contenders.

Using 1-Congo King, 3-The Nth Degree, 5-Unbridled Sidney, 6-Gaff, 8-Roi Charmant, 10-Chief What It Is, 12-Sgt. Bert

Leg 2 – The Louisville Breeders’ Cup – Hoping Pletcher comes through here with Indian Vale. I’d like to play against her, but I can’t find anyone interesting.

Leg 3 – The Crown Royal American Turf -  I love betting these 3-year-old grass races. I really liked Marcavelly’s win in the Transylvania at Keeneland. Also using Jazz Quest – first time Tom Amoss.

Leg 4 – The Kentucky Oaks – It’s tough to knock Rags to Riches, but I’m going to hope she gets beat today. There are a bunch I think have a shot here at a price.

Using 2-Cash Included, 3-High Heels, 4-Octave, 5-Cotton Blossom, 10-Autobahn Girl.
