By: Oaks Notes Team

CLASS ABOVE/VICTORY U.S.A. - Trainer Bob Baffert's two Kentucky Oaks hopefuls galloped Saturday morning and have tentative works scheduled for Sunday morning.

HALFBRIDLED - Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (GI) heroine Halfbridled paid her first visit to the track at Churchill Downs on Saturday morning, galloped a mile and a quarter under exercise rider Paul Nilluang before the renovation break. The filly arrived from Keeneland shortly after noon from Keeneland along with trainer Richard Mandella's two Derby hopefuls, Action This Day and Minister Eric.

ISLAND SAND - Trainer Larry Jones said that Fantasy (GII) runner-up Island Sand remained on track for a spot in the Kentucky Oaks starting gate.

"She galloped a mile and five-eighths at Ellis Park and we plan to ship to Churchill Friday and Saturday and work that weekend," Jones said.

Nikki Luce is the filly's exercise rider and Terry Thompson has the call for the Oaks.

LAST SONG - Buckram Oak Farm's Last Song galloped Saturday morning at Churchill Downs. The daughter of Unbridled's Song, who won Gulfstream's Bonnie Miss (GII), will be ridden by Edgar Prado in the April 30 Oaks.

MADCAP ESCAPADE - Bruce Lunsford's undefeated Madcap Escapade galloped Saturday morning with exercise rider Lisa Sloan aboard. Trainer Frank Brothers indicated that Hall of Famer Jerry Bailey, who piloted the filly in Gulfstream's Forward Gal (GII) will have the call in the Kentucky Oaks.
